How should I take this product?
Take one scoop, once a day with water or milk. Colostrum can also be mixed with our Prime Protein and Grass-Fed Collagen in shakes, coffee, or other goods! Alternatively, you can drop one scoop directly in your mouth and let it sit - this is a 'bolus' method. It actually tastes pleasant and this method may increase absorption. -

Is colostrum a dairy product? Can people with lactose intolerance use it?
Colostrum is considered a dairy product. Although it is not milk, it does contain a very small amount of lactose. Most lactose-sensitive individuals find that it is easily digestible and beneficial to gut health. If you are severely lactose intolerant, it may not be suitable for you. Best to consult a healthcare professional for personalized advice! -
Is your Colostrum pasteurized?
Yes, our colostrum powder is pasteurized using a low-heat process that is designed to keep all nutrients in tact. This process allows us to provide the safest and highest-quality product possible. -
How is this sourced?
Calfs always receive colostrum first! That's our promise. After birth, cows produce colostrum in excess. Calfs only consume 33-50% of colostrum produced, the rest goes to waste. We source the surplus colostrum and process it with low-temperatures to kill any bacteria and keep nutrients in tact. -
How is this processed?
Our colostrum is processed at low temperatures to keep nutrients in tact! -
Can I consume this in hot liquids?
We recommend keeping liquids below 145'F when mixing with colostrum to decrease the probability of the heat degrading nutrients. They won't degrade drastically over that temperature but keeping it below 145'F is the best practice - that's still a very warm cup of coffee or tea! -
What is the amino acid profile of colostrum?
The exact amino acid profile can vary depending on the source and processing methods. However, a general amino acid profile for our colostrum powder, particularly one with 25% IgG content, would still include the full spectrum of essential and non-essential amino acids, with certain amino acids being more prominent due to the protein content in colostrum. Here’s a general estimate of the amino acid profile found in a bovine colostrum powder: Estimated Amino Acid Content (for 1.5g of Protein in a 3g Serving): Essential Amino Acids: Leucine: (120 - 150mg) per 3g serving Isoleucine: (75 - 90mg) per 3g serving Valine: (90 - 105mg) per 3g serving Lysine: (120 - 135mg) per 3g serving Methionine: (30 - 45mg) per 3g serving Threonine: (60 - 75mg) per 3g serving Phenylalanine: (60 - 75mg) per 3g serving Tryptophan: (15 - 30mg) per 3g serving Histidine: (30 - 45mg) per 3g serving Non-Essential Amino Acids: Glutamine (Glutamic Acid): (225 - 255mg) per 3g serving Arginine: (45 - 60mg) per 3g serving Proline: (75 - 90mg) per 3g serving Serine: (60 - 75mg) per 3g serving Tyrosine: (45 - 60mg) per 3g serving Cysteine: (15 - 30mg) per 3g serving Alanine: (75 - 90mg) per 3g serving Glycine: (30 - 45mg) per 3g serving Aspartic Acid: (135 - 165mg) per 3g serving Notes: IgG (Immunoglobulins): While IgG is a key protein in colostrum, it isn’t an individual amino acid but a large protein made up of many amino acids. The 25% IgG content means that 25% of the total protein content in the colostrum is composed of immunoglobulin G, which contributes to the immune-supporting properties. BCAAs (Leucine, Isoleucine, Valine): Bovine colostrum is relatively rich in BCAAs, which are important for muscle repair and recovery.
